Brandon Jay McLaren Biography
Brandon plays Devon Sylver. Brandon grew up in Vancouver, from Trinidadian and Grenadian descent. This dude went to the State University of New York at Albany on a soccer scholarship and graduated with a degree in human biology, before he decided that what he really wanted to do was act. So he did. He's been on TV in Just Cause, Smallville, and a ton of other shows, and you've seen him in Scooby Doo 2 and alongside Amanda Bynes in She's The Man.

Devon's at Charles U. on a full basketball scholarship, and he's used to being the star. Devon's past is nothing like Samantha's— he grew up in a secure family, proud of himself—but they both worked hard to win a place at school. He's ahead of the game when it comes to friends and romance, but none of that will prepare him for Sam.
